Sankalp
Stambhan
The traditional act of stilling, closest to Maa Baglamukhi’s own nature.

What this sankalp means
Stambhan means stilling or holding — bringing something that is in motion against the devotee to a stop. It is the act most closely associated with Maa Baglamukhi, who is described in the tradition as the stambhini, and it is the sense in which the Mahamantra itself is recited.
How devotees bring it
Because stambhan is the Devi’s own nature, most Baglamukhi sevas carry something of it. Devotees bring it as a sankalp of their own when they want a difficulty that keeps advancing to be stilled.
