What this sankalp means
Akarshan means drawing towards — traditionally described as drawing what is favourable towards the devotee. It is one of the shatkarma, the six acts named in the Tantric tradition.
How devotees bring it
Devotees who ask about akarshan are told plainly what this seva is in the tradition and what it is not. It is offered as upasana of the Devi with a sankalp; it is not a means of acting upon another person, and Pandit Ji does not take up a sankalp meant to harm anyone.
